Community Supported Plant Starts

To supplement your edible landscapes we grow a variety of vegetable, culinary, and medicinal herb starts. They can be found at a variety of venues:

(1) Markets/Plant Sales-Come say hi to us at the West Seattle Farmers Market (In April and May) and Phinney Farmers Market (May-June), and WSU-King County Master Gardeners and Seattle Tilth’s Plant Sales (May 2-3--already happened and a great success!)
(2) Directly to organizations
to use as fund-raisers, and csps-summerflat.jpg

(3)”Community-Supported Plant Starts” (CSPS)works as follows: To help support you towards year-around vegetable production we offer flats of ready-to transplant veggie/herb starts throughout the year.  In Early Spring (March-April) we start broccoli, kale, cabbage, cauliflower, chard, peas, herbs, etc. In late spring and early summer, we’ll supply tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, and other heat-loving crops. In June and July, when you should plant Brussel Sprouts and Fall Brocoli, we’ll get you those.

We’ll have plants ready every 6 weeks or so, and we are willing to deliver them to you and your community for 5 flats or more.  Also, because you are purchasing a continual supply of plant starts, we are able to offer you very economical prices. For More infomation or to place an order, please see download this order form: 2009-csps-order-form-may-update.doc
