The Goal:
The Goal of this program is to cultivate year round gardeners. By educating what to plant when and providing healthy locally grown plant starts.
How it works:
Members Sign up in the beginning of the year and receive 4 seasonal flat of vegetables starts based on a farmers crop succession. Gardeners get a full flat of the right crops for the right time of the year delivered to a drop off location in their neighborhood.
Wait, What Do I Get?
To see a full list of Vegetables check out our order form. (for a sneak peak keep reading) In Early Spring (March-April) we start broccoli, kale, cabbage, cauliflower, chard, peas, herbs, etc. In late spring and early summer, we’ll supply tomatoes, basil, peppers, and other heat-loving crops. In August and September when you should plant Brussel Sprouts and Fall Broccoli, we’ll get you those. Than you will be eating whats in season right from your own urban farm all year round.
Where do I get It?
We deliver to neighborhoods all over Seattle. Currently they include Ballard, Wedgewood, Central District, Columbia City, West Seattle, Mercer Island and the U-District. If you want a pick up location closer to your neighborhood organize five of your neighbors for the program and we will add your house as a drop off.
